Christopher Gable (March 13, 1940 - October 25, 1998) was a British dancer & actor.
Gable exposed at the Royal Ballet School, becoming a soloist inside 1959 with the Royal Ballet. He continued as a principal by owning Covent Garden Ballet, however was troubled by arthritis and left in 1967 to pursue a career within acting. His right-known role wwhen as a leading human in the 1971 musical film, The Boy Friend. Even so, he is remembered by numbers of for his number 1 television role, when Eric Fenby in Ken Russell's Song of Summer, about a composer Frederick Delius. He played a independent villain, Sharaz Jek, in the 1984 Doctor Who serial The Caves of Androzani.
His go screen role was inside 1989 and he returned to the world of dance when director of the Northern Ballet Theatre. He died of cancer.
